Never participated in a marathon race before? Why not do your first half? The Vitality Big Half marathon will take place Sunday 10th March 2019 and will be an amazing opportunity to set yourself a personal challenge and raise money for a charity you are passionate about!
This may be the perfect opportunity for you to get fit in the new year and burn off those mince pies over Christmas. The health benefits of training for a marathon include increasing your strength and stamina, lowering blood pressure and reducing stress. Take this as a chance to reinvent yourself in the new year!
You’ll run a scenic 13.1-mile course through the London boroughs of Greenwich, Lewisham, Southwark and Tower Hamlets with some of the worlds best athletes. Fancy more? How about the The Vitality Big Festival in Greenwich Park? This free festival will have live music from a range of artists, some of London’s best food stalls and plenty of fun activities for children.
General entries for the 2019 Vitality Big Half marathon have now sold-out! To participate you must now secure a charity place. Guts UK has only 5 of these places remaining. Please be quick if you would like to enter as these places are allocated on a first come first served basis!

The deadline for this is: 31/01/2019
Please note that we would like our runners to raise a minimum of £200 in sponsorship, the registration fee is just £10 and will include a Guts UK running vest.
