Our Board of Trustees

The Guts UK Board of Trustees have overall accountability for our charity’s strategic direction, stewardship of our resources and the activities we undertake in pursuit of our charitable objectives.

Our trustees are volunteers who contribute their time and expertise to helping the charity deliver our mission. We are lucky to have a diverse Board made up of specialists from different fields of gastroenterology, research experts and business professionals who bring a broad range of complimentary skills to our charity. As a national charity, we’re proud that our trustees come from all across the UK and beyond. The one thing that unites our trustees is their passion to deliver our mission of improving the lives of the millions of people affected by digestive conditions in the UK.

Our trustees serve for a term of three years and can serve a maximum of three consecutive terms. Board meetings are held once a quarter and are supported by a series of specialist sub-committees that support decision making and direction.
