Fundraise with your community group

See how your Rotary club, sports team, women’s Institute, masonic lodge or scout and girl guiding group can support our work.

If you’re a member of a community group see how your support can help people living with and affected by digestive conditions by putting together an event and fundraising for Guts UK. Fundraisings ideas could be:

Organise a gala dinner

Invite your group members, friends and family to spend an evening together for Guts UK. You could include a raffle, auction, or fundraising games like heads and tails. Decorate your tables, and make sure you order donation envelopes from our events team.

Arrange a collection

Choose your local supermarket, shopping centre, or high street. Remember to get permission from the landowners if it’s private property, or a permit from the council if it’s on public land. Also make sure you have some ID on you. Contact our events team to get collection tins, buckets, and other Guts UK branded items.

An assortment of "Guts UK!" charity fundraising materials is laid out on a white background. At the center is a blue t-shirt featuring a bright green and white logo, flanked by a white fundraising bucket and a smaller collection tin with donation labels. Below the shirt sits a blue and yellow "Your Fundraising Guide" booklet alongside a "Sponsorship Form" designed for logging donor details. Completing the kit are a rolled-up banner and a stack of informational leaflets, including one specifically focusing on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

Choose Guts UK as your Charity of the Year

Membership groups sometimes select a charity to work with all year. Selecting a charity to work with for the year is a great way to engage your members and make a real difference in your local community.  Email our friendly team at events@gutscharity.org.uk to find out more!
