Gut Together
Have a Gut Together this July and get talking to help us to reduce the stigma that so often surrounds our guts.
What’s a Gut Together?Â
A Gut Together can be whatever you want it to be – whether it’s a casual 10-minute chat over a cuppa or a planned-out session that brings a group of people together to dive deeper into their digestive health. Â
Our free, digital guide helps you to kick-start conversations with family, friends and colleagues. It includes conversation starters, myth busters and questions to help prompt you.Â
You can host your Gut Together in person or online. We’re encouraging people to Gut Together during our Let’s Talk Guts campaign between Monday 13 to Sunday 19 July but if that doesn’t work for you, you can use our resources any day of the year. Â
Who’s it for?
It’s for anyone who wants to feel more comfortable talking about digestive health. We’ve all got guts but plenty of us don’t feel all that confident talking about them (yet!)
And we get it, talking about your tummy troubles over the dinner table with family, when you’re enjoying a day out with friends, or when you’re having a break with colleagues at work isn’t the norm. But why shouldn’t it be?
Many of us will experience digestive symptoms at some point in our lives and hopefully, they’ll be temporary. But sometimes, our symptoms can be a sign of a digestive condition that could have a big impact on everyday life. If you don’t feel comfortable talking about them, it could stop you seeking the right information, help and support if you ever need it.
