Guts UK is proud to announce the continuation of its partnership with Imodium® for another year, building on a shared mission to improve understanding of digestive health and ensure that no one has to struggle in silence.
Together, we’re once again joining forces to break down barriers, tackle stigma and get the UK talking more openly about gut health. This year, our campaign takes on an important new focus: raising awareness of the Guts UK Helpline – a vital service that offers trusted information, guidance and support to anyone affected by digestive symptoms or conditions.
Digestive symptoms affect millions of people across the UK, yet many still feel embarrassed to talk about their gut health or delay seeking advice.
By shining a spotlight on the Guts UK Helpline, we want to remind people that help is available, accessible and free and that when people are ready to seek help, they know exactly where to turn.
Feedback from those who use the service highlights just how important it is, with many people saying it helps them feel listened to, better informed to make decisions and manage their symptoms or condition, and ready to take the next step.

Why this matters:
Whether you’re experiencing symptoms for the first time, managing a diagnosis, or supporting a loved one, the Helpline is here to help you feel informed, heard and supported.
Our Helpline is available Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, by phone or online form, making it easy to get in touch in a way that suits you.
As part of this year’s campaign, Imodium® is helping to fund the work of Guts UK in a simple and impactful way.
For every pack of Imodium® purchased in Tesco stores, 5p will be donated to Guts UK.
These contributions will help us continue delivering essential services like the Helpline and be there for more people who need our support ensuring that more people can access accurate information and feel empowered to take the next step in managing their gut health.
It’s a small action that can make a big difference – turning everyday purchases into vital support for people across the UK.
The partnership between Guts UK and Imodium® is rooted in a shared commitment to improving gut health awareness and encouraging people to seek help sooner. Together, we bring over 100 years of combined expertise in digestive health, helping to provide trusted information and challenge common myths.
Our work together is award-winning and has already reached millions, helping to open up conversations about digestion, tackle stigma, and connect people with the support they need.
This year, by focusing on the Helpline, we are taking that mission one step further – ensuring that when people are ready to talk, someone is there to listen.
