Important: Our IT issue has now been resolved and our team is back online!

25th November 2024

We’re pleased to let you know that the ongoing IT issue we were experiencing has now been resolved. The team at Guts UK has full access to our emails and systems as usual.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we’ve been working hard to get things back up and running. The issue experienced was beyond our control and we’ve been doing all we can to keep things moving as normal. We can’t wait to focus all our attention on getting to grips with guts once again.

In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to help us. Whilst every effort has been made to restore our systems in full, unfortunately we are unable to retrieve any emails sent to both shared and individual email addresses after Wednesday 6th November.

If you have emailed us after this date and you haven’t heard from us in the since then, we’d be grateful if you could get back in touch. Please resend your email to the intended email address (ending @‌gutscharity.org.uk) and the recipient will reply as soon as they can.

Please bear with us while we make our way through emails and get back to our usual response times. If your email is urgent, please mark it as high priority or call us on 020 7486 0341.

If you’ve not been in touch before now but have a query for our team, here are some quick ways to find what you need:

I need information about a digestive condition or symptom

We have a range of patient information about digestive symptoms, conditions and health and lifestyle, which can be found here. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, or if would like to talk to us about a digestive condition or symptom(s), our team are on hand to answer your call. If you need information or support over the phone, please call us on 020 7486 0341.

Please note, our phone lines might still be busier than usual over the next few weeks. If you can’t get through to a member of our team, please leave your name and number and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Alternatively, please email us at [email protected] or use the Contact Us form for non-urgent enquiries or requests and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

As always, any urgent health-related matters should be directed to the NHS, your GP, or urgent care services.

I am trying to reach a specific member of your team about a work-related query

If you have tried to email a specific member of our team since Wednesday 6th November but are still waiting for a response, please resend your email to us (addresses ending @gutscharity.org.uk). We’re now picking up emails as usual and will reply as soon as possible.

You can also email our usual shared inboxes if you’d like to speak to a specific team but don’t have a named contact:
