Have your say on our new five-year strategy

Could you help shape the future of guts? We’re inviting anyone involved with our charity to take our short survey to inform our new five-year strategy.

We’re a small national charity but our expertise and commitment to our community is big! We’ve achieved so much already, from providing our evidence-based expert information for patients and families affected by digestive conditions, to raising public awareness and funding life-changing research projects that will impact generations to come.

With millions of people living with and affected by digestive conditions across the UK, the demand for our support has never been greater. Unfortunately, that demand significantly exceeds our charity’s size and capacity.

We want and need to do more. Which is why we’re developing an exciting new strategy that will provide the framework for everything we do over the next five years.

With our community at the heart of all we do, it’s vital that we prioritise your needs and ensure your voice is heard. So, we’re inviting you to have your say…

Take our short survey here to share your views and help shape the next five years at Guts UK.

How long will it take?

The online survey will take around 5-10 minutes to complete. It will provide us with valuable insight into what’s most important to our community.

Who can take the survey?

The survey is open to anyone who’s interested in digestive health, affected by a digestive condition, or impacted by our charity’s work.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you are:

  • Living with a digestive condition or symptoms
  • A family member, friend or carer of someone with a digestive condition
  • A healthcare professional in gastroenterology
  • A GP or nurse
  • A researcher in gastroenterology
  • Individuals and organisations we work closely with
  • Anyone else who knows us or has been involved in our work

What happens next?

The survey will close on Thursday 7th November and we’ll review your response. In December, our Board of Trustees will make final decisions about our strategy. Next year, we’ll share an update and our initial priorities with you.

Thank you for taking the time to support the development of our new five-year strategy.

Sharan’s Crohn’s disease story
