Research Awards Committee

Guts UK’s Research Award Committee (RAC) are responsible for reviewing applications to Guts UK’s funding schemes. The expertise of the membership of the Research Awards Committee reflects the range of conditions that are within the research remit of Guts UK and of its research strategy. There will be no more than two members from any one institution, though exceptions can be made for members temporarily co-opted into the RAC for their expertise.

The Chair of the RAC is appointed by the Trustees of Guts UK, advised by the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Executive Committee and existing members of the RAC. The Chair of the RAC should be from outside the field of Gastroenterology.
