Important: Guts UK affected by significant IT issue

8th November 2024

Guts UK is currently experiencing a significant IT issue beyond our control, which has resulted in the loss of access to our email accounts and disruption to other systems.

All members of our team have been impacted and we are not currently able to send or receive emails from our usual Guts UK email address (@gutscharity.org.uk). We have set up temporary addresses so you can reach us – please see below for details.

Please be assured that we are working to resolve this issue as quickly as we can. In the meantime, we are still here to provide our expert information and support, should you need us.

I need information about a digestive condition or symptom

We have a range of patient information about digestive symptoms, conditions and health and lifestyle, which can be found here.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, or if would like to talk to us about a digestive condition or symptom(s), our team are still on hand to answer your calls.

If you need information or support over the phone, please call us on 020 7486 0341. Please note, our phone lines might be busier that usual during this time. If you can’t get through to a member of our team, please leave your name and number and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Alternatively, please email us at [email protected] use the Contact Us form for non-urgent enquiries or requests and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

As always, any urgent health-related matters should be directed to the NHS, your GP, or urgent care services.

I am trying to reach a specific member of your team about a work-related query

If you have tried to email a specific member of our team but received a bounce back message, are awaiting a response to an email you’ve sent, or were due to meet with them online and haven’t been able to make contact, please call us on 020 7486 0341 and we will direct you to the right person.

Alternatively, please email us at the temporary email addresses, marking your email for the attention of the relevant team member:

I have a media enquiry

Please use the Contact Us form on our website for non-urgent media enquiries or requests. If your enquiry is urgent, please call Jade Keay, Communications Manager, on 020 7486 0341.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’ll be back to get to grips with guts as soon as we can!
