Creon 25k – Potential Short Term Stock Issues

22nd April 2020

Guts UK is the only UK charity funding a research fellowship into pancreatitis. Pancreatitis is a priority for our charity, so each November we’re proud to run a month-long Kranky Panky Pancreatitis Awareness Campaign. We are dedicated to bringing our community the most up-to-date, accurate, evidence-based patient information.

Creon is the name given to the digestive enzyme medication produced by Mylan (the marketing authorisation holder for Creon). This is often used by individuals with pancreatitis, pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, cystic fibrosis and so on. Mylan have contacted Guts UK so we can inform our community that the UK will experience a temporary and limited supply constraint of Creon 25k in the upcoming weeks.

Mylan have released an official statement, available to download below:

Mylan’s customer service team is also available for any stock queries from patients or health care professionals:

productenquiries@mylan.com    •   01707 853100

Updates will be posted to www.creon.co.uk

Please know that the team at Guts UK are still here to support you with any queries you may have too. We may take a little longer than usual to respond, but we are here for you. Contact info@gutscharity.org.uk or call 01484 483123.
